Larabanga
Larabanga was my first stop in Ghana. Some 800km north of coastline in an area generally called Sahel, culture is much different from southern Ghana. Instead of concrete grayish houses, one can admire typical villages with muddy houses, enjoy driving on dirty roads but also see people living in destitute circumstances - sometimes not having even enough food. The main attraction in Larabanga is nearby Mole National Park with elephants, but what I was charmed about the surrounding villages.
