Thomson's Falls

Close to Nyahururu, one of Kenya's highest cities (2360 m above sea level), lies on the Ewaso Narok River beautiful Thomson's Falls. The 72 meters giants were named after Joseph Thomson who was the first European to walk from Mombasa to Lake Victoria in the early 1880s. You can check out the falls from above, or there's a trail down to the bottom where you can enjoy the close view for a couple of minutes (before you get wet :-))
